Where Wisdom Meets Code: The Klaus Effect
Food with Thought AI isn’t just another ag-tech startup riding the AI wave. It’s the brainchild of Klaus Mager — a systems thinker, global strategist, and regenerative ag evangelist with decades of field-tested experience. From his teens training as a chef in Europe to designing and developing food retail for large corporations such as Disney and Metro AG to advising multinationals and mentoring mission-driven co-ops, Klaus has always seen food not just as a product, but as a system — deeply interconnected, often broken, and in urgent need of redesign.
That’s where our AI comes in.
At the heart of every FwT Agent is a curated knowledge base shaped by Klaus’s moral compass, practical business sense, and regenerative ethos. This isn’t AI trained on generic datasets. It's a living, evolving intelligence built to help every node in the food chain — growers, processors, advisors, buyers, researchers, funders — to do their work more effectively and more ethically.
Whether you're planting cover crops, verifying Scope-3 carbon data, redesigning farm-to-market logistics, or just trying to figure out how to get paid for stewarding the land — our AI agents deliver real-time, localized, and innovation-driven support with traceable logic and zero techno-babble. (Unless you want it. We’ve got API docs too.)
Klaus designed this system not just to answer questions — but to ask better ones. To help food system actors orient, optimize, and regenerate—without getting lost in the noise or stuck in silos. AI is the delivery vehicle. Klaus is the signal.
We believe the future of agriculture is collaborative, bioregional, decentralized, and yes — profitable. Because regeneration isn’t just an ecological imperative. It’s an economic one.
Food with Thought AI is how we build that future. Together.

Our Co-Founder
Kathryn Hayat, CMO
A lifelong food enthusiast turned brand strategist, Kathryn Hayat shapes the voice and vision of Food with Thought AI. She has built her career helping companies with their online marketing - from building websites, to developing content marketing and communication strategies, to organizing webinars and forums, to complete rebranding. After receiving a stage 4 Cancer diagnosis at the age of 27, she immediately turned to food to support her holistic treatment strategy. Having been an athlete throughout her life, she instinctually understood the power of proper nutrition on health, but had not realized that what she thought was healthy (ie. juicing vegetables covered in glyphosate) was actually making her more sick. As the mother of four little girls, Kathryn’s commitment to a food supply chain, that is both safe and health-promoting, isn’t abstract—it’s dinner-table urgent. That personal stake, combined with sharp marketing acumen and a knack for collaboration, makes her the perfect bridge between our AI technologists, farm partners, and the families they ultimately serve.
